  • Having a Solid Technique – When you have a solid technique, you have a solid approach to the work. When you have no technique, anything and everything can happen – good and bad. It is important to have a technique to fall back on, otherwise you will be vulnerable to a bad day, a bad moment, or a distraction.
  • Go Beyond Directing Yourself – Get an educated eye and direction to fulfill your full potential as an actor. Move past your blind spots. A good player relies on a coach to make them better. In sports, a good coach helps players go from high school junior varsity to varsity, college to pro, and pro to in-demand. A good player allows themselves to be given correction, coaching, and criticism. You may never see why you aren’t getting the call backs or the parts you want without having someone look from the outside. An acting coach can do that.
